"There are two kinds of music... The kind I like and the kind that sucks."
~ Flowstone Music Editor

Fortunately for our readers our music editor likes all kinds of music and his discriminating taste comes from a place of
knowledge rather than a place of pompous attitude (although he does have a bit of that at times!). It is our goal here
at
Flowstone to get readers to open their minds and their ears and become part of the music rather than just listening
to it. Whether a song makes you want to dance or cry or leaves you feeling completely offended, music can be the
greatest member of any community.

Recently we saw Roger Waters in Seattle at the Key Arena. It was a packed house and I found it so amazing how
everyone was singing. Even people that wouldn't sing in the shower were belting out
How I wish you were here . . .
Despite having always known it in my soul, this was the first time it really struck me that music really is the best way to
unite people.

How has music affected your life? We want to hear your musical stories, songs that you've written,
reviews of your favorite albums (even if they came out 20, 30, 40 years ago!) or albums that you would
like someone else to review. Do you know of a great show coming up? Are you a performer who needs
an audience? Let us know and we will spread the word. Email
flowstonenews@yahoo.com with your
complete contact information.

The following represent some of our favorites and is by no means an all
inclusive list. Keep checking back for more links to great music.
