Flowstone is a very small, independently owned community newspaper distributed from Eugene to Ashland.
We need a few people who are willing to work on a commission basis selling ads for
Flowstone.
The amount of money you make would be dependent on your ability to sell. Our advertising rates are dirt cheap and the concept behind our paper is
based on community, sustainability and creativity...most of the time it is an easy sell.
We will pay you 30% of your total sales each month. Our least expensive ad is $60...Sell one ad an hour, that's $18/hr.
Our ideal sales representative...
-Has sales experience and confidence.
-Is willing to pound the pavement to find us new sponsors.
-Is well connected in the local community.
-Believes in the power of community and the importance of sustainability.
-Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Has Internet access and computer savvy.
-Is friendly, outgoing, optimistic and willing to help us in our grassroots mission to strengthen our communities, locally & globally.

Flowstone is in the process of building a volunteer editorial board for upcoming issues.
We envision this board consisting of a few people throughout the region who can be our eyes and ears and also take on a portion of Flowstone’s content
in terms of layout and editing. Areas that need editorial assistance include our arts & entertainment, food, gardening and family sections.
If you are interested in being a part of something truly unique and believe that sustainability is not just about the environment then we have a job for
you!
We are looking for people all over western Oregon who posses the following attributes:
Dependable
Eye for detail, grammar & punctuation
Love working hard for little or no reward
People /Networking Skills
Internet Access
Some experience in the publishing/editing field would be great but is not necessary
Sense of humor
An extra 10 – 15 hours a month
